Score4Inclusion Local Lab takes place at IEES with the participation of around 40 student-athletes
On October 23rd and 24th, the European Institute of Higher Education (IEES) will host the Local Lab of the Score4Inclusion Project, a European initiative that aims to combat discriminatory, racist, and intolerant practices in sport.
The Score4Inclusion Project seeks to highlight and recognize sport as an excellent mechanism for promoting social inclusion and non-discrimination, contributing to the building of a fairer, more diverse, and more equal society.
Over two intensive days, around 40 student-athletes from IEES will take part in practical and reflective activities that raise awareness of the role of sport in fostering inclusive environments. Their participation represents a valuable opportunity for both personal and academic growth, strengthening their citizenship, teamwork, and respect for diversity.
The Local Lab, coordinated by Prof. Joana Costa, PhD, Prof. Aldina Silva, PhD, and Prof. Dimas Pinto, is part of the activities carried out by project partners across Europe under the Score4Inclusion Project, co-funded by the European Union, aiming to create a meaningful impact in both education and the community.
